Hotel ONE is the new brand founded and fully managed by Landis Hotels & Resorts. The property in Taichung is the first opened in November this year. The hotel structure is designed by world-renowned team, KPF Associates. Descending from the spirit of KPF, Hotel ONE Taichung glamorizes Taichung with a cutting-edge cliff shape of floors. Every piece of glasses was specially made to make the building shape as a sailboat from the sides and a fish from above. The hotel, the highest in the city, is now a landmark and ranks as the fifth tallest building island-wide.

Mr. Stanley Yen, President of Landis Hotels & Resorts invited the master of interior designing, Mr. Nick Baker to design all the guest rooms and public spaces. The entrance is located on the south side with an open reception area that creates state-of-art comfort which focuses on the interaction between our service staff and the guest.

Phone Diverting Service allows guests to retrieve phone calls from their hotel room via the mobile phone offered by Hotel ONE Taichung. The idea of the workstation concept easily transforms the guestrooms into a fully-equipped and highly efficient mobile business center. The workstation consists of business devices that form integrated unit to allow users to catch up all with the latest happenings around the globe. The components include 37’’ LCD TV, DVD Player, Laser Printer, 5.1 channel stereo, Wireless & High-speed Internet Access, Mini Bar and Personal Stationary Kit.

Mr. Stanley Yen stated that the change of time and technology have taken culinary culture to a different level. Signature cuisines are no longer exclusive to local chefs. Nowadays, chefs have gone across the boundary of land and nationality to prepare innovative fusion dishes.

The “IN”restaurant, on the 28th floor, caters to the international guest with Chinese, Thai, Indian and western cuisine. It offers buffet breakfast, a la carte lunch and dinner. Top of ONE is a fine dining palace on the 46th floor of Hotel ONE overlooking the entire city of Taichung, providing second to none modern Chinese cuisine and luxurious service.

LIZ Bakery on the 1st floor provides fresh baked pastries on the hour each day; function rooms on the 27th floors are tastefully appointed to cater party request; Lounge ONE on the 29th floor presents magnificent night view of the glittering city.
